Senior Full Stack Developer

REIVA is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer for a U.S.-based mental health technology platform. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Islamabad for an experienced developer who can work across frontend and backend systems, build reliable applications and contribute to a strong development process.

About the Platform

The platform works to make therapy more accessible and efficient through technology. Its tools include AI-generated clinical notes and avatar-based expression designed to support the experience of both therapists and clients. The platform has a focus on serving Medicaid clients.

As a developer supporting this work, you will contribute to applications used in a setting where security, reliability, performance and ease of use matter.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with substantial experience in both frontend and backend development. You will help build, test, maintain and improve web applications that support the platform’s work.

This position calls for someone who can take responsibility for technical work from implementation through testing and refinement. You should be comfortable building user interfaces, developing APIs, working with databases and improving application performance. You will also collaborate with designers, product managers and other developers, review code and help guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain high-quality web applications using React, Node.js and MongoDB.

• Implement user authentication and authorization using JWT and other secure methods.

• Create responsive and interactive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.

• Design and build RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend components.

• Improve application performance, reliability and scalability.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers and developers to deliver platform improvements.

• Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.

• Write comprehensive unit tests and support code coverage using tools such as Jest and Enzyme.

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, uDeploy and AWS.

• Stay informed about relevant development practices and apply them where appropriate.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

• At least five years of full stack development experience.

• A strong portfolio showing relevant development projects.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Extensive experience with React, Angular, Node.js and Express.js.

• Strong knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL and other SQL or NoSQL databases.

• Good English communication skills and a neutral to American accent.

Compensation and Work Arrangement

This is a full-time, on-site position in Islamabad. The advertised salary is PKR 400,000–425,000 per month. The package is tied to a minimum of 160 hours worked per month.
